The hit independent golf comedy Birdies was produced for a total of $70,000 cash, in addition to $70,000 in deferred equity to the cast and crew. Since it's release on 2/22/22 we have made a net profit of $100,000 from sales on Prime, Tubi, Apple TV, and Plex which we have used to generate more marketing and sales, and run promotional golf tournaments and screenings. We've repaid all of our cash investors outside of the Tight Lies team ($30,000). Everyone who invested money owns their shares in perpetuity which they will receive residual income for as long as they retain their ownership. It might not happen that fast again, but we do hope to repeat this success with all of our future projects, starting with Cross Country!
When you invest in the team, you become a part of the team. We love to collaborate with our investors on current and future projects to get the most out of their money and out of our relationship as business partners. We can thrive together while sharing ideas and having a good time doing it. Let's go!
